About The Sutton 8 Walk (Pub Crawl)

The Sutton 8 is a most enjoyable local walk involving 8 Pubs and beer (beer optional). It was resurrected by customers of Ye Olde Kings Head, after the walk (pub crawl) fell into moth balls until Christmas 2011 when the locals decided it was long over due to be run again….or walked, or even staggered.

All Profits from the event and donations collected en-route are given to a local charity TBA. Past Charities include East Cheshire Hospice, Windyway Animal Rescue and The Rossendale Trust. A hearty breakfast is served at the start point (The Church House Inn) which is included in the price of the ticket. (Non breakfast option available). We depart around 10.30am from The Church House and take in The St Dunstan Inn, The Leather’s Smithy, The Hanging Gate Inn, The Ryles Arms, Sutton Ex-Servicemen’s Club, The Sutton Gamekeeper, Sutton Hall finally ending up at Ye Olde Kings Head. View the Interactive Route Map and Route Itinerary for more information.

Distance is approx 6.5 miles. Fancy dress is optional, but encouraged. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Breakfast is limited to 100 persons.

Tickets are £10 (£5 without the breakfast) and available from The Church House Inn and The St Dunstan Inn from 6 weeks before the date of the walk.
